GMAT looked easy after Veritas Prep
I went through the full Veritas Prep course and it was very helpful. My GMAT improved from 550 to 670 and got into top 10 business school! I could not have done this without Veritas Prep. Their technics for verbal and math are really simple and effective. They give you plenty of sample questions to help us practice. I definitely recommend this course.

I initially studied Kaplan books to prepare for the GMAT, and they helped me but only to a certain point. Wanting to raise myself above that score level "ceiling", I used Veritas Prep's books. This company's approach to the GMAT is intensive and very focused; they tell you precisely what to memorize, what to be familiar with, and what concepts you really don't need to master. Veritas Prep's materials made a significant difference for me in my ability to manage the GMAT's most important aspect: time. If like me, you seek to raise your score above the levels that Kaplan or Princeton Review bring you, then you really need to invest in Veritas Prep's course materials. I would recommend these books to anyone.

Excellent GMAT Preparation Material
I found the set of books to be very detailed and resembling GMAT practise test questions. The practise content in the books forces a student to get into the habit of doing problems instead of spending hours on theory.

The way to get a high score
I bought their books rather late around mid-June 2010 before taking the
I used these books without taking a formal course. I've been trained as a Kaplan SAT instructor, and taught the GMAT after using these books, so I've seen a decent amount of test prep stuff. If you're motivated and regimented, they can work fine alone, because the lessons and explanations are pretty comprehensive. I've even let a couple of friends use them and they felt that they were similarly effective. However, it is always nice to have someone to bounce questions off of when you can't figure something out.

Veritas resources are an amazing guide to success
I took the Veritas Prep class and had great success. The books are very helpful, resourceful, and easy to read. The practice problems range from beginner to expert level and are great for any skill level. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about taking the GMAT as a great way to get prepared to succeed on the test!
I used the Veritas OnDemand package with the "Complete GMAT Course Set" and went through all of the lessons and tests in a 2 week period and improved my score from a 650 on the first practice test to a 730 (96 percentile) on the real thing! My breakdown was a 50 Quant (94 percentile) and a 40 Verbal (89 percentile), which was a big improvement in both areas, especially the Verbal. I have recommended Veritas Prep to all of my friends planning on sitting for the GMAT. It had way more tests than Manhattan, Princeton, and Kaplan. Thanks again!

The most complete book set on the market but missing CAT Tests
Since I am in a unique situation (I own full sets of both Veritas and Manhattan GMAT books), I thought I'd share how they stack up. Well, both are excellent resources and are used as the classroom material by their respective publishers (so you are ultimately getting what you would get in the classroom minus the instructor) but they are not the same.
Taking my GMAT was such a frightening idea. I really put off preparing for it just because I was so worried about how I'd do. I didn't even want to open a prep book because I was afraid I would realize that I wouldn't be able to pull it off.
